Director Statement:
The idea for the THE FINDING came to me in moment of desperation and self-discovery...the
day that I had to abandon film school in San Diego after 6 months of attendance. I found myself
driving towards Los Angeles when my business partner, Tomás Cordoba and I were invited to a
spiritual retreat by Eduardo Verástegui. The story itself unraveled in my mind based on an
image I saw on the road that day, that image sparked a question within myself...What would
happen if a child finds an object that could change the course of his life? I began to expand the
story with this question in mind.
