"Filth"

A troubled young man suffers to cope with day-to-day life after going through a traumatic experience as a child. The film is an exploration of the concept and theme of forgiveness.
DIRECTOR BIO:
Eric Alexander-Hughes is a 17-year-old native of Claremont California. Eric comes from a very diverse family. His maternal grandparents, a bishop and a pastor, his paternal grandparent, a feminist, artist, and follower of Dianic Wiccan spirituality. As the son of two parents who work in the entertainment industry, he has always had a fascination with filmmaking and decided to grab it by the horns at the early age of 10. He’s been making short films ever since. He has completed more than thirty vignettes and experimental pieces, however “Filth” is his first narrative. In late January of this year he will begin interning on the major motion picture “The Book Of Eli” starring Denzel Washington & Gary Oldman. Eric has been accepted to the renowned film school at San Francisco State University and will be attending in the fall of 2009 to begin work on his Bachelors Degree in Cinema.
