![]() Gina Kamentsky is an artist who creates kinetic sculptures in the somewhat chaotic and messy real world and animated films for the screen where gravity is a bit less of a concern. Ms Kamentsky produced her first animated film when she was twelve using a hand cranked Bell and Howell 8 mm camera and drawing on recycled computer paper. Currently she is directing a series of animated films for children as a partner in the company Sweet Blackberry with actress Karyn Parsons. Their first release “The Journey of Henry Box Brown” featuring narration by Alfre Woodard was recently selected for a Parents’ Choice Award by the Parents’ Choice Foundation. |
