set out to document the local independent music scene. When Ben unexpectedly meets the singer of a popular band, the pair find themselves at odds, each unaware of how much is at stake for the other.

Shot using three distinctly different video formats incorporating both narrative and documentary techniques, Stop, Record boasts a soundtrack featuring a wide variety of national and regional independent recording artists, including Giving Chase, The Bakerstreet Irregulars, Kingsfoil, Eric Schoon, and Jessica Vale.

Filmmaker's bio:
A graduate of Temple University's production thesis program, Adam Schoon is a freelance writer, actor and filmmaker based out of Philadelphia. His short film Stop, Record won the Derek Freese Script award in 2004, and in 2005 co-wrote Black Butterflies for executive producer Cheryl Dunye. He has worked extensively on short and feature films, documentaries, photo shoots and commercials in the US and UK, and does production and publicity work for TLA Releasing and the Philadelphia Film Festival.
