Sharon Colman was born on the 20th July 1978 in Balloch by Loch Lomond, Scotland. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a BA (Hons) Illustration in 2000 and worked as a Flash animator, freelance illustrator and as an inbetweener for director Matthew Hood at the National Film and Television School. Sharon graduated from the NFTS in 2005 with her film Badgered. She always wanted to approach animation from a traditional illustrative angle and is amused by the peculiar and absurdity of human nature, and developed an interest in character and their physiological makeup.
